For too long, BIPOC and working-class communities in Massachusetts have been systematically underfunded, their voices excluded from the decisions that shape their everyday lives.
Public budgets dictate access to housing, education, transportation, and jobs—yet most residents have little say in how these funds are allocated. With civic education lacking and community engagement often limited to election cycles, the result is deep inequities that persist year after year.
At Delivering on Equity, we believe that those most impacted by these decisions should be leading the conversation. By equipping communities with the knowledge and tools to advocate for equitable public investments, we are shifting power, increasing representation, and ensuring that public resources truly serve the people.

Through civic education, advocacy training, and coalition-building, we empower BIPOC and working-class communities to understand and navigate budget processes, ensuring public resources are distributed equitably and historically excluded voices are heard.
